I started Double MMK after watching too many Detroit owners deal with managers who wouldn’t return a call. Hidden fees, slow repairs, a different rep every month — the fix wasn’t complicated: answer the phone, tell the truth, do the work.

Mohamad founded Double MMK Management to give Detroit landlords a partner they can actually reach. He leads every part of the business hands-on — from leasing and tenant screening to maintenance and monthly reporting — with straight answers and no runaround.

Why I started Double MMK
When I started Double MMK Management, it wasn't to build the biggest management company in Detroit — it was to build one people could actually trust. I'd watched too many owners get stuck with management that didn't return calls, padded invoices, and treated their property like a number on a spreadsheet.
I knew it could be done better, the old-fashioned way: pick up the phone, tell the truth, and do the work. Every property we take on, I treat like my own. Every resident, like a neighbor. We pair that hands-on approach with modern tools so owners always know what's happening — and tenants always have a real way to reach us.
